2010 March 11: WI Madison: More Air Quality Issues
Wisconsin is still in a fairly stagnant weather pattern, and despite the recent rain and higher wind speeds, air quality continues to remain low across the state. The Air Quality Index has yet again reached the orange level, which means particulate matter, ozone, and other pollution indices are higher than normal. When an Air Quality Alert is issued with an AQI in the orange level, the primary threat is for those individuals with chronic health conditions, heart and lung issues, the elderly, and young children. The general public is not likely to be affected.
